4-Week Hand Building Course

Learn pottery hand-building in just 4 weeks. Move beyond basics to create a complete collection - dinnerware sets, vases, handled mugs, and more. With guided weekly instruction, all materials, glazing, and kiln firing included, you'll develop real skills you can keep building on. Perfect for beginners and single-class graduates. Four 3-hour sessions. Pieces ready for pickup approximately 4 weeks after your final class.

What You Can Make (vs. the Taster):

In the single class, students complete 1 simple pieces, like a pinch pot or a small dish. Over 4 weeks, you'll have the time to plan, refine, and create a full collection, including:

• A small multi-piece dinnerware set (Plate, cup, bowl)
• Larger vases and planters with more complex forms
• Handled mugs and cups with intricate handles
• Lidded boxes and jars
• Textured or sculptural wall pieces
• Personalized, one-of-a-kind design pieces refined over multiple sessions

What's Included:

• 1/2 a sleeve of clay (usually enough 4 classses - more can be purchased if needed)
• Hand tools
• Guided instruction each week
• Food, Dishwasher & Microwave Safe Glazing (done by you!! to customize your piece)
• Kiln firing
• Ready for pickup approx. 4 weeks after your final class

Important Info:

• Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting a bit messy!
• Each session builds on the last, so consistent attendance is encouraged to get the most out of the course.
• The last 30 minutes of each class are dedicated to cleaning up.
• Your pieces will be ready for pickup approximately 4 weeks after your final class. We will hold your pieces for 1 month after your pick-up date.
• All pick up is available during Cafe hours.
• Please note that the studio does not assume responsibility for cracked or damaged pieces, acknowledging that some imperfections such as cracks are natural occurrences during the ceramic process.
• By being a student at our studio, you acknowledge and accept that your work may be photographed by our team.
