Ready to go beyond the single class? Our 4-Week Wheel Throwing Course is designed for beginners seeking a hands-on, creative outlet to unwind and explore their artistic side. Across four weeks, you'll build on the fundamentals of centering, opening, and pulling - and move into trimming and glazing, giving you the full journey from raw clay to finished piece that simply isn't possible in a single 3-hour session.

Learn essential techniques in a friendly, small-group setting, perfect for stress relief and self-expression.

What You Can Make (vs. the Taster):

In the single class, students complete 1 simple thrown piece, like a small bowl or cup. Over 4 weeks, you'll have the time to plan, refine, and take a piece through the entire process, including:

  • Bowls and plates with cleaner, more refined forms
  • Mugs and cups with pulled handles
  • Vases with more interesting shapes
  • Trimmed, finished footrings and bases
  • A piece fully glazed by you, start to finish

Course Schedule:

  • Week 1: Wedging, Demo, Wheel Throwing
  • Week 2: Wheel Throwing
  • Week 3: Trimming
