Join us for an evening of ceramic button making, an exploration into the world of hand-building and upcycling. We'll craft one-of-a-kind buttons to sew onto your favorite dress, hand-knit sweater, or future heirloom. The options are truly endless <3
We'll cover the basics of ceramic button making before bumping some tunes and letting your creativity run wild. Check out this Pinterest board for ideas and inspiration!
What's Included?
- All ceramic tools and materials are included.
- You will leave with up to 10 buttons to attach to your favorite garment, along with instructions on how to sew them on. If you are upcycling an existing garment, we recommend choosing one with buttonholes at least 2cm wide.
- At the workshop, you will pick your favorite of 3 glaze colors, and we'll glaze and fire your buttons so you can take them home in a few weeks.
It will be the perfect screen-free morning of hands-on making in community!
This workshop is open to all levels.

Important Info
- Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting a bit messy!
- Please arrive promptly, as instructions begin at the start of the workshop.
- The last 30 minutes of class are dedicated to cleaning up.
Cancellation Policy: Unfortunately, tickets for this event are non-refundable and non-exchangeable! Please double-check your calendar. If you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend.
Pickup: Your pieces will be ready for pickup approximately 4 weeks after the class. We will hold your pieces for 1 month after your pickup date. Pickup is available during Cafe hours.
Please note that the studio does not assume responsibility for cracked or damaged pieces, as some imperfections, such as cracks, are natural occurrences during the ceramic process.
