Spend a full day on the wheel with Unha Hill learning a traditional Korean throwing technique that uses less water for more stable, easier-to-lift pieces. Practice the basics in the morning, then throw tall forms in the afternoon.
This is a technique-focused workshop: all pieces are reclaimed at the end of class, so you can experiment freely without worrying about what to keep.
Duration: 8 hours with a 1 hour lunch break
What’s included:
A full day of hands-on instruction with Unha Hill
All clay for the day
Basic throwing tools (bring your own if you have ones you prefer)
Requirements:
Some wheel experience — you should have a minimum of 8 weeks of throwing practice and be comfortable centering, opening, and pulling up walls before joining.
Good to Know:
This workshop will be a full day class – will start at 9 AM and end at 5 PM
No lunch is provided; there’s a 1-hour lunch break, so you can feel free to bring your own or grab a snack from our in-house cafe!
All pieces made during the workshop are reclaimed after class – nothing is fired or kept.
